*Although we received complimentary movie tickets, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Aside from Mom and Dad, my son’s favorite word is “car,” and all things related to cars like car carrier, dump truck, etc. Needless to say, he has been a huge fan of CARS since he first saw the movie so we were beyond excited to take him to a screening of CARS 3 last night. It was also the first time he’s ever seen a movie at a movie theater!
Because it was his first time at the movies, we weren’t sure what to expect but we hoped his love of Lightning McQueen would help him have an enjoyable time, and I’m happy to report that we were right.
During the first part of the movie, I was surprised how still he sat, watching in wonder (with his 3D glasses on) at all the familiar characters he’s used to seeing alongside Lightning McQueen like Mater and Sally Carrera as well as new characters like Cruz Ramirez.
CARS 3 shows how Lightning McQueen handles his racing career with a new generation of fast racers to compete with. As CARS fans, we were happy to see all we expected and more from CARS 3 — humor, all kinds of training, exciting racing, and lessons learned. We enjoyed our family movie night going to see CARS 3!
CARS 3 comes to theaters on June 16, 2017! While you’re anxiously waiting to see it, you can check out the fun activity sheets below including a memory game, a maze, and a spot the differences page.
