I love to travel—new places, experiences, sights, adventures, excitement, foods, sounds, and cultures! It’s a little harder to travel now that I’m a mom, but I’m often working to “make travel happen” as I call it (and maybe you’ve read those exact words from me before). And that’s because we do have to plan it and make it happen. It won’t happen to us.
So even if it’s visiting family a couple states away or heading to the beautiful California coast for the weekend or even spending a day in San Francisco—I do my best to make travel happen for our family.
Meet G, my first little travel buddy and son! Technically, his first time on a plane was a flight I took from Hawaii to California to visit family (we were living in North Shore, Oahu at the time I got pregnant with G) and what’s ironic is that one of my first times on a plane was to Hawaii from California while my mom was pregnant with me!
But the first time he really got to go on a plane was at 5 months old when we flew into Salt Lake City, Utah to enjoy a white Christmas with family! The moment I captured with my Travel booklet by Milestone was after me and G found this photo of us taking that trip. Now that he’s older, I got to explain to him how he was a baby in that picture. I’ll never forget the compliments we received from strangers about how adorable and well behaved he was!
I love this new Travel booklet by Milestone Baby and only wish I’d had it years ago for both of my littles. Still, I’m excited to use this booklet to capture more memories as we are planning a trip back to Hawaii in the near future and it would be my youngest son’s first time on a plane!
